Years before esports or Twitch, Darin starts one of the very first YouTube shows built entirely around sim racing gear and reviews.
2010s
ISR becomes the go-to source
The channel grows into a community of more than 160,000 subscribers, built on honest testing, real community, and real influence on the hobby.
2020
Sim Motion is founded
Drawing on decades of sim racing experience, Darin launches Sim Motion's U.S. division out of his Spokane garage.

Before Sim Motion, Darin ran SSCA, one of the era's most popular online sim racing leagues, then built Inside Sim Racing into a YouTube community of 160,000+ subscribers, and later worked for one of the industry's top hardware manufacturers. Founded in 2007, ISR was one of the first channels built entirely around sim racing gear. It went quiet for seven years, then relaunched in 2025, backed by Sim Motion, with fresh gear coverage, setup guides, and community content. Same honest reviews, new chapter.
