Description

The Trak Racer 4-Channel Bass Shaker Kit adds localized tactile feedback to your sim racing controls, letting you feel ABS, wheel slip, engine vibration, gear changes, kerbs, and surface detail through your pedals, shifter, and handbrake. The included Class-D amplifier provides independent control across four channels for precise, targeted immersion.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Feel ABS, wheel lockups, traction loss, kerbs, bumps, and drivetrain effects through your controls
  • Get localized tactile feedback instead of sending every vibration through the entire cockpit
  • Improve braking and throttle awareness with physical cues delivered directly through the pedals
  • Add mechanical feedback to shifters for more physical and satisfying gear changes
  • Enhance rally and drifting setups with tactile rear wheel slip and surface feedback through the handbrake
  • Use four amplifier channels to build a more targeted multi-zone haptic setup
  • Fine-tune supported Trak Racer electronics through Trak Racer Device Manager software

WHO IT’S FOR

This kit is designed for sim racers who want more detailed tactile feedback than a seat-only or chassis-mounted haptic system can provide. It is particularly useful for GT, Formula, rally, drift, and endurance drivers who want physical feedback through their pedals and controls. Its low-frequency vibration capabilities also make it suitable for flight simulation, other gaming applications, and audio-based tactile setups.

KEY FEATURES

The Trak Racer 4-channel bass shaker kit combines a four-channel Class-D amplifier with two compact 10W bass shakers. Mounting the shakers close to pedals, shifters, handbrakes, or other controls helps isolate individual effects so feedback reaches the part of your body interacting with that control. Brake pedal effects can communicate ABS activation and wheel lockup, throttle effects can represent wheelspin and traction loss, and shifter or handbrake mounting can add drivetrain, gear-change, surface, and rear-wheel feedback. The amplifier features four RCA inputs, four output channels, an adjustable 40 to 100 Hz low-pass filter, and a 30 to 100 Hz frequency response. Trak Racer Device Manager provides a central software platform for managing and customizing supported Trak Racer electronics.

REAL-WORLD USE / EXPERIENCE

Mounting tactile transducers directly to individual controls changes how information reaches the driver. A shaker on the brake pedal can make ABS activation or threshold braking easier to recognize physically, while throttle-mounted feedback can communicate wheelspin and traction changes during corner exit. A shaker mounted near the shifter can add a mechanical sensation to gear changes and drivetrain effects, while handbrake feedback can make rear-wheel lockup and changing surfaces more noticeable during rally and drift driving. With four amplifier channels available, the system can also be expanded into a more detailed multi-zone tactile setup rather than relying on one generalized vibration source.
